Software built for how your business actually works
We design, build and operate custom software — internal platforms, client-facing products, integrations, and the systems a business runs its operations on. One engineer who knows your whole system, not a rotating team learning it on your budget.
What we do
Work that outgrew the spreadsheet, and then outgrew the off-the-shelf tool
Most businesses reach a point where the process they actually run no longer fits anything they can buy. That is the work we take on.
Operations platforms
Approval workflows, registries, scheduling, inventory, reporting — the internal systems a company runs on, built around the process you already have rather than the one a vendor assumed.
Client-facing products
Portals, dashboards and self-service tools your customers use directly, with the access control and audit trail to match.
Integrations
Accounting, advertising platforms, payments, CRM. Getting systems that were never designed to talk to each other to agree on the numbers.
Data & reporting
Cross-checks and reconciliation that surface the exceptions instead of burying them — the report that tells you what is wrong, not just what happened.
Migration & rescue
Moving off a spreadsheet, a legacy system, or a half-finished build somebody else walked away from, without losing the history.
Run and support
Hosting, monitoring, backups, security updates and the changes that keep arriving after launch. Software is not finished when it ships.
How we work
Priced monthly against a roadmap, not hourly against a timesheet
You buy delivery and availability. Nobody bills you for thinking, and nobody is rewarded for taking longer.
Discovery
A short first pass: we map the process as it actually runs, settle the data model, and come back with a written spec and a fixed price. Credited in full against the build.
Build
Delivery against an agreed roadmap, with working software to look at throughout — not a demo at the end of a quarter.
Deploy
Production infrastructure, data migration off whatever you are using now, integration credentials, and training your team.
Operate
Support, defect fixes at no extra charge, and changes as the process changes. The retainer steps down when the build work does.
You get a perpetual licence
Little Cloud keeps ownership of the platform, which is what keeps the monthly rate where it is — you fund your own requirements, not the whole cost of building it. Your licence is perpetual, irrevocable, survives the engagement, and comes with source escrow.
Your data is yours
Without qualification. Exportable at any time in an open format, never used to train models, never shared with anyone. And no per-seat charges — add as many users as you like.
Work
Built and running
One system of record for budgets, contracts and media spend
Replaced email-and-spreadsheet workflows at an agency managing multi-million-dollar advertising budgets. Monthly budgets per location with approval routing and versioning, a media contract registry, Google Ads and Meta pacing against plan, and vendor bills drawing down contracts.
A cross-check report reconciles planned against contracted against invoiced against actually spent. Payables post to QuickBooks, which stays the ledger of record.
Brand assets with usage rights that expire on time
Content-addressed storage with no folder hierarchy, classification by controlled vocabulary rather than free text, and two separate expiry clocks — one for the offer, one for the licence behind the creative — so nothing runs past the rights that cover it.
Compliance rules are configuration rather than code, so the people who own brand guidelines change them without a deploy.
Patient referrals between independent practices
A subscription platform where medical and dental practices refer patients to one another and keep records, imaging and correspondence attached to the right chart. Every practice is a tenant that sees only its own data, with specialties, insurance carriers and interactive dental charting on top.
Subscription billing, transactional mail, documents in S3 with local caching, two-factor authentication, an audit trail, and a REST API for integration. Schema changes ship as numbered, tracked migrations rather than by hand.
Engagements
One tier at a time, changed by agreement at any month boundary
Most clients start on Build, step down to Sustain once the platform is in daily use, and finish on Maintain. Every engagement begins with discovery or a deployment — a retainer alone does not start a project.
Build
Active development of a new platform or a major module. Roadmap delivery, weekly working sessions, priority turnaround.
Sustain
Continued development against an agreed roadmap, plus support and small changes for a platform already in use.
Maintain
Hosting, dependency and security updates, defect fixes and minor changes. No roadmap work.
Rates and standard terms are on the rate sheet — ask and we will send it.
